At the Paris Motor Show, Venturi presented the American Concept. It is part sports car, part beach buggy. Venturi America Concept with 300bhp-plus electric drivetrain from that goes into this. The 54kWh battery pack gives the America a 180-mile range, thanks in part to a lightweight carbon monocoque chassis.
Interesting at a show stopper, especially as it’s located right next to the massive Lotus display. It won’t get anywhere near production either, which we reckon is confirmed by the fact Venturi says reams about the car without actually saying anything. It offers “unique driving pleasure comprised of precision, acceleration and gliding.”
