2011 Beau Reid GK2G Concept
News about 2011 Beau Reid GK2G Concept, the Floridian futurist and designer makes today’s cutting edge technology look old fashioned, designed by Beau Reid. Moreover, his name sounds like the alter ego of a Golden Age superhero. His latest automotive-themed creation is the GK2G (Go Kart 2 Go): a Formula 1-inspired, fold-able kart racer.
Weighing in at a lithe 65 pounds (30 kilograms) thanks to its all carbon fibre construction and lightweight lithium-ion batteries, the all electric concept has a theoretical top speed of 60 mph (100 km/h).
The best part though is the Go Kart 2 Go Concept’s ability to slim down to a size of just 30 in. x 30 in. x 15 in. (76 cm x 76 cm x 38 cm) thanks to its modular construction and fold-able chassis.
