 2011 IED Turin Abarth SCORP ION Concept at Geneva

Students of the Master of Arts in Transportation Design, IED Turin constructed in cooperation with Abarth unveiled the world preview of its new environment-friendly concept car, the SCORP-ION at the Geneva International Motor Show.

The IED Turin Abarth SCORP-ION Concept is eco-friendly vehicle that comes as a 2-seater is fully run on electric power. This car embodies all of Abarth’s specific characteristics in an unequalled combination of sportiness and reduced dimensions.

There a lithium battery was placed under the load compartment behind the seats that provides ample space inside. The engine is de-located in the four wheels, so that the interior space of the vehicle can be exploited to the full.
